PROFILE OF THE ORGANIZATION
About Organization:-
It is a non-profit organization influencing the youth culture in India both in
practice and academia by inspiring, training and supporting students for
social innovation & entrepreneurship
in this process the organization has emerged as India's premier youth
platform for social innovations with pan-India chapters facilitating the
growth of leaders of change.
Vision
To inspire and build people and organizations, who can effectively
respond to social challenges, lead the movement for grass roots
development and be the premier place for social entrepreneurs to
meet, collaborate, learn and develop social innovations.
Mission
To promote social entrepreneurship and inspire, educate and
support new social entrepreneurs and create environments where
they can succeed.
GOALS OF ORGANISATION
facilitate resources for social entrepreneurs
raise awareness about social entrepreneurship.
Participate and collaborate in programs with
congruent organization
Establish and foster an open forum for the
exchange of ideas,
shift from resource facilitator to resource provider
PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES
Workshops
NSEF's workshop series has been designed with the special intent of
enabling students to spot hidden opportunities amongst the untargeted
millions in India and learn how to construct a system of mutual benefit.
NSEF Authors of Change Program[6] –
NSEF Authors of Change program provides students a hands-on
experience to learn the ropes of running a social enterprise for a time
period of 2-3 months where they utilize their skills working on real
time projects.
NSEF Fellowship[7] –
A support program for students who start social ventures
after completing college, to connect them with the resources
and network they would need to grow their ventures.
this program has recognized & supported the efforts of
young social entrepreneurs who had the courage and vision
to come out with ventures to address the key social
problems of the country.
