2 Coverage KPI Acceptance Test
2.1 PCPICH RSCP & Ec/Io Acceptance Test
Objective
Coverage Pilot Test (Ec/Io & RSCP)
KPI Definition
This test item aims to acquire general coverage effect of pilot network.
Coverage radio = valid test kilometers / total test kilometers
The valid test kilometers should be satisfied for PCPICH RSCP >= -90dbm & Ec/Io >= -14dB;
Preset Conditions
WCDMA system is in normal operation.
Network Optimization work is completed.
Driver Test Tools is connecting with GPS/Scanner is ready and operate normally.
Test Procedures
The test vehicle carried with GPS/Scanner/Test UE and DT Tools moved around within the predetermined drive test route.
Record the value of PCPICH RSCP and PCPICH Ec/Io.
Expected Results
Record the value of PCPICH RSCP and PCPICH Ec/Io and distributed information in geographical.

3 Voice Test
3.1 Call Success Rate AMR Acceptance Test
Objective
Test the Acceptance of call success rate of UE origination AMR.
KPI Definition
Call success rate of UE origination AMR = UE origination AMR call success times / UE origination AMR call request times* 100%
UE origination AMR call success times = sum of NAS message “Alerting” received successfully by MO
UE origination AMR call request times = sum of “RRC Connection Request” message sent by MO. Resent of the message should only record once in the same calling procedure.
The Call setup failure times caused by CAC should be eliminated;
The Call setup failure times caused by CN or UE should be eliminated;
Preset Conditions
WCDMA system is in normal operation and PSTN is well connected and runs normally.(If there is
no PSTN, UE can be used instead).
Network Optimization work is completed.
Driver Test Tools is connect with GPS/Scanner and Test UE is ready and operate normally.
The drive test route is ready and should be satisfied for PCPICH RSCP >= -90dbm & Ec/Io >= -11dB.
The test UE is put in the test vehicle, and moved around within the predetermined drive test route.
Test Procedures
Configure the test plan of Voice Call in the probe , input the number of MT(PSTN or UE) firstly
The duration of one call is set 45s
The interval time between two calls is set 10s
Click the start test icon on the toolbar in the probe to start the test, at the same time save the log file
The test vehicle carried with GPS/Scanner/Test UE and DT Tools moved around within the predetermined drive test route
Click the stop test icon on the toolbar to end the test after finishing the test
Expected Results

3.2 AMR Call-Drop Rate Acceptance Test
Objective
Test the KPI of AMR call-drop rate.
KPI Definition
AMR Call-drop rate = AMR call drop times / AMR call setup success times * 100%
AMR call setup success times = the times of NAS message “Alerting” received successfully by MO
AMR call drop times should be the sum of the three conditions occurs in the procedure of Call as below:
(a) Received any BCH message
(b) Received RRC release message and the cause is not “Normal”
(c) received CC DISCONNECT,CC Release Complete or CC Release, and the cause is not ” Normal Clearing”, not “Normal”,” Unspecified”
The Call Drop times caused by CN or UE should be eliminated
Preset Conditions
WCDMA system is in normal operation
Network Optimization work is completed.
MT UE should be located in good coverage area (RSCP > -80dbm & Ec/Io > -8dB).
The drive test route is ready and should be satisfied for PCPICH RSCP >= -90dbm & Ec/Io >= -11dB.

AMR Call Handover Successful Rate = Number(Active Set Update Complete) / Number(Active Set Update)×100%
The Soft Handover failure times caused by UE should be eliminated.
Preset Conditions
WCDMA system is in normal operation.
Network Optimization work is completed.
Open the soft handover algorithm switch using this command line: SET CORRMALGOSWITCH: HOSWITCH=SOFT_HANDOVER_SWITCH-1;
Driver Test Tools is connect with GPS/Scanner and Test UE is ready and operate normally.
The drive test route is ready and should be satisfied for PCPICH RSCP >= -90dbm & Ec/Io >= -11dB
Test UE is put in the test vehicle, and moved around within the predetermined drive test route.

Video Call-drop rate = call drop times / AMR call setup success times * 100%
Video Call setup success times = the times of NAS message “Alerting” received successfully by MO

5.1 PDP Activate Success Rate of HSDPA Acceptance Test
Objective
Test the KPI of PDP activate success rate.
KPI Definition
PDP activate success rate = PDP activate success times / PDP activate request times * 100%
PDP activate success times = sum of NAS message “PDP Activation Accept” received successfully by UE
PDP activate request times = sum of “RRC Connection Request” message sent by the UE. Resent of the message should only record once in the same calling procedure.
The Call setup failure times caused by CAC should be eliminated;
The Call setup failure times caused by CN or UE should be eliminated;.
Preset Conditions
WCDMA system is in normal operation.
Network Optimization work is completed.
Set the UE's expansion service quantity parameters Max bit-rate as UL 64/DL64K in HLR.

Objective
Test the KPI of HSDPA single user average DL throughput by CAT8

WCDMA system is in normal operation.
Network Optimization work is completed.
This UE is subscribed to the Background/Interactive services at 384 Kbit/s (UL) and 7424Kbit/s (DL) on the HLR.
FTP server is ready, and make sure the FTP server can provide more higher than 3.6Mbps upload/download data throughput.
Test UE or high level software should have the ability of record service bit rates information.
Driver Test Tools is connect with GPS/Scanner and Test UE is ready and operate normally.
The drive test route is ready and should be satisfied for CQI >= 21.

This UE is subscribed to the Background/Interactive services at 1536 Kbit/s (UL) and 3648Kbit/s (DL) on the HLR.
FTP server is ready, and make sure the FTP server can provide more higher than 2Mbps upload/download data throughput.
Test UE or high level software should have the ability of record service bit rates information.
Driver Test Tools is connect with GPS/Scanner and Test UE is ready and operate normally.
Average PCPICH RSCP = -80dbm &PCPICHPower=330,;
The ULRTWP and bandwidth of Iub are not limited.

6 ISHO Inter System Handover Test
6.1 AMR handover from WCDMA to GSM
Objective
Check whether UE can perform Inter-System CS service handover from WCDMA to GSM
Prerequisites
The GSM and WCDMA system are both configured correctly and operate normally.
A WCDMA Cell 1 and a GSM Cell 2 are configured as adjacent cell
PSTN is well connected and also runs normally.
UE is a dual-mode phone which can support both GSM and WCDMA network. UE camp on 3G network in Cell 1.
Tracing Uu and Iu Interface in RNC and tracing Iu Interface in MSC.
In 3G MSC Server, tracing user interface by IMSI or tracing links to 2G network in MSC Server
Procedure
Establish a UE-PSTN voice call successfully
The duration of one call is set 45s
The interval time between two calls is set 45s
When the UE handover from 3G to 2G and end in 2G ,the 2G network will force the UE reselect from 2G to 3G
Remarks
