Scroll bars

Scroll bars are used to move the visible area in the program window.

System settings

The scroll bars and their behaviour are specified by the operatingsystem. By default, scroll bars are only displayed in macOS whenscrolling.

The contents in the different views of Merlin Project can be moved in the visible sectionusing entry devices such as a mouse or a touchpad. The roll bars only appear when thisis the case.

With the Apple Magic Mouse and the Apple Trackpad you can see the

gestures for moving content using small animations in System Settings→ Mouse and System Settings → Trackpad.

Show scroll bars

Open the System Settings of macOS and click on the icon General. This contains theoptions for the behavior of the rollbars when scrolling.

The three options for scrolling with scroll bars are system-wide and apply to allprograms used.

2 Show scroll bars

• Automatically based on mouse or trackpad

• Scrolling

• Always

Select the Always option. The rollbars then appear in Merlin Project and are also visiblefor all programs and permanently.
