Write Your Screenplay In One Month!!! Use NaNoWriMo to jump-start and inspire your creativity during the month of November. So maybe you’re not feeling your inner novelist, but that screenplay you’ve been mulling over is just dying to come out. Band together with the writing community for motivation and have at it. Here’s a little guidance if you’re ready to make it happen.

Freeform: Loosely assemble your thoughts into a concrete story. Beg.-Mid.-End

1st Act Outline: Establish characters, environment, and action

2nd Act Outline: Part One. Work on the first half of the 2nd act up to the midpoint

2nd Act Outline: Part Two. Work from the midpoint to the end of the 2nd act

3rd Act Outline: Focus on the resolution. Tie up loose ends. Round out the end of the story
