This critical expansion allows Roswell Park Cancer Institute to provide comprehensive cancer care to meet a growing demandwhile freeing up space in the main RPCI hospital so that existingpatient-care programs can be expanded.

Design Details • Roswell Park patients from the Patient & Family Advisory Board
participated in design and planning.
• Every floor features scenic views of the Buffalo skyline.
• Contemporary design brings together both glass and natural materials, including terra cotta.
• High ceilings and extensive use of natural light compliments spacious layout.
• Soothing earth tones are prominent throughout interior and exterior design.

Community Support This $50.5 million project has been realized through generous support fromthe community.
FUNDING SOURCES INCLUDE:
• $6.3 million from federal New Markets Tax Credit program
• $32.7 million in philanthropic donations through the Making Room to Save Lives Campaign, co-chaired by Donna Gioia and Scott Bieler.This total includes generous gifts of $1 million or more from the following donors:

Breast Oncology Center This center offers the latest in diagnosing, treating and managing benign and malignant breast tumors in women and
men. The center also provides risk assessment and supportive services.
Breast Imaging Center This space will allow RPCI to perform up to 10,000additional screening mammograms, annually. Services available include
screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound and sterotactic biopsy.
Survivorship & Supportive Care Center/Adolescent & Young Adult Center These centers will meet the ongoing needs of cancer survivors. Services include pain management, palliative care, nutritional services,
complimentary medical care, psychosocial services and screening.
Chemotherapy & Infusion Center Doubling RPCI’s current capacity, this centerfeatures private rooms and spaces where patients can interact with one another.
Infusion bays feature large windows looking out on scenic views of the city.
Gynecology Center Diagnosing, treating and managing all cancers of thefemale reproductive system, this center offers advanced screening approaches
and cutting-edge therapies.
