Entry requirementsAll students who meet the published minimum requirementsfor entry to Single Honours Statistics at the University ofGlasgow would be eligible to take part in this programme. Ifmore than 5 students present themselves, those with thehighest GPA in the Statistics Level 2 courses which arerequired for Honours would be selected.

TimetablingGlasgow students would undertake the third year of theirdegree by attending the second year course in Bologna.

The Faculty of Statistical Sciences at Bologna will teach allof their courses in English from the second year onwardsand they have modified their first year syllabus so thatGlasgow and Bologna students entering the Bologna sec-ond year have a similar background. The second year syl-labus at Bologna is sufficiently similar to the third year atGlasgow that the adjustment for Glasgow students returningfrom Italy should be minimal.

AssessmentExchange of students for the year involves a full exchangeincluding assessment. Assessment for the third year of aGlasgow University student would therefore be determinedby The University of Bologna.

Financial arrangementsThere will be no additional tuition fee requirements. However, students will be responsible for any additionalexpenses, including insurance, which will be incurredthroughout the year.
