Question

Can you stop a soda from exploding?

procedure

1. shake soda for 1 min and open it2. shake soda for 1 min, flick the sides

and open it

3. shake soda for 1 min, tap the top and then open it.

4. record the results

prediction

Giselle: I predict that the one that you flick on the side will not explode

Elisa: I predict that when we tap the top of the soda can it will not explode because I think it is calming it down.

conclusion

After this experiment we can conclude that after shaking a soda for 1 min and tapping the top, in our surprise, it didn’t explode.

And after shaking the soda for 1 min and flicking the sides it did explode.
