Since the beach ball is larger than baseball, it has more surface area. Friction from the wind keeps
the beach ball from going as far as the baseball. The weight of the ball also affects the distance because it would add allow the ball to have more force to resist
friction and gravity.
Josh goes to the beach. He throws a baseball. It travels 25 feet. He throws a beach ball.
It travels 5 feet. Why does the large beach ball travel less than the baseball?
