1. This office through Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) will conduct the 2017 DIVISIONRESEARCH ORIENTATION CAPACITY BUILDING CUM TRAINING ON CONTENT ANDPEDAGOGY IN ENGLISH this coming May 22 to 24, 2017 at Imus Pilot Elementary School, ImusCity.
2. The following are the objectives of the three (3 )- day training:
To strengthen research culture among key teacher researchers per grade and year level inEnglish.
To orient key teacher researchers regarding the conduct of research and the Division's Researchinitiatives.
To capacitate key teacher researchers in the conduct of action researches To develop title and background I rationale of a research proposal in English. To capacitate the English key teachers with the different innovative strategies, techniques and
approaches in the teaching of English as a major subject area. Strengthen their skills in the administration of Phil- IRI and McGENITE.
3. Participants to the above mentioned capacity building are the following. Key Teacher-Researcher I English Key Teacher per grade and year level (Elementary and Junior
High School) 6 Participants per elementary school and 4 participants per secondary school. All English Teachers Senior High Schools. Key English Administrators I English Department Heads.
4. The participants of the said activity are expected to prepare at least three (3) Research Proposal Titles inEnglish.
5. All participants are hereby requested to bring notebooks and pen and come early for the registration.6.
