The evaluating procedure that regulates the admission to the curriculum “Management” will be carried out in TWO main phases: the FIRST evaluation phase is different from quota to quota, while the SECOND PHASE (oral interview in English) is the same for all candidates.

Page 11: SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS MANAGEMENT AND STATISTICScorsi.unibo.it/1cycle/Management/Documents/Call for application... · 1 SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS MANAGEMENT AND STATISTICS FORLÌ CAMPUS Call

11

4.1 PHASE 1 (min 400 – max 1600 points)

4.1.1 Italian candidates, EU candidates, non-EU candidates with equivalent status QUOTA (first, sec-ond, third and fourth selection sessions)

Candidates pertaining to this quota will be evaluated on the basis of the TOLC-E or SAT-General test scores obtained (refer to section 2 for further information).

The Evaluating Board will draw up a single ranking list for Phase 1 ranking (min 400 – max 1600 points) on the basis of the results obtained by candidates in the chosen test converted through the table attached to this Call (Attachment n.1).

Candidates during the online application procedure will be asked to indicate which test (TOLC-E or SAT) they took. If candidates have taken both tests, they must indicate with which they would like to compete.

If a candidate has taken the same test more than once, according to the deadlines indicated in this Call, the score uploaded by the candidates in the online application will be taken into consideration.

In particular,

- If you participate in the selection procedure with the TOLC-E test, you are evaluated according to the score indicated in the report that you can download on the Cisia Wabsite. The Score report that has to be uploaded by the candidate within the deadline to apply for each selection session. You can take the TOLC-E test by the midnight of the day preceding the deadline to apply for each selection session and not before 1/Feb/2016.

- If you participate in the selection procedure with the SAT test, you will be evaluated on the basis of the score reported in the Official score report that must be delivered by the College Board to the University of Bologna (under students request) within the day of the deadline to apply for each selection procedure. The SAT test can be taken starting from 01/Feb/2016.

The Examining Board is also in charge of assessing candidates’ ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:

Candidates participating in the competition with their TOLC-E are required to take the compulsory English language section of the TOLC-E test and to obtain a minimum score of 17/30 in the English lan-guage proficiency section (corresponding to an A2 level) if they do not hold any valid certificate attesting a B1 or above level of language proficiency among those listed at the following page: http://www.cla.un-ibo.it/risorse/files/tabella-equipollenza-titoli issued not prior to 01/01/2016.

The score obtained in this section does not give additional points, but it is useful to verify linguistic compe-tence. Only candidates who obtain the minimum score required in the English section are admitted to the second phase of the selection (Interview in English). For those candidates the admission board will evaluate the linguistic competence (minimum B1 level) during the interview.

For candidates who hold a valid certificate attesting their B1 or above level of language proficiency among those listed at the page: http://www.cla.unibo.it/risorse/files/tabella-equipollenza-titoli and issued not prior to 01/01/2016 (regardless the official validity set by the relevant Certification Body) the linguistic requirement is considered met, regardless of any eventual score obtained in this specific section.

Candidates participating in the competition with their SAT-General test score can upload (if any) a valid certificate attesting a B1 or above level of language proficiency among those listed at the following page: http://www.cla.unibo.it/risorse/files/tabella-equipollenza-titoli issued not prior to 01/01/2016 to meet the language proficiency requirements.

Candidates participating with their SAT score who do not hold any valid English language certification can be admitted to the second phase anyway: the evaluating board will assess their linguistic competence (of at least B1 level) during the interview.
