Industry partners interact with students in hosting company tours, giving guest lectures, providing internship opportunities and supplying Work Integrated Learning (WIL) projects. They also share their expertise at the annual International Business Forum.

Since graduating, I’ve worked with foreign businesses from different industries. It’s been great to see first-hand how Vietnam’s integration with the world is changing constantly. I completed my studies with an internship at a consultancy focused on market entry into South-East Asia. I then continued working there because the job matched my academic background well. I’m now in another role supporting foreign companies to expand into the Vietnamase market.

In management consulting, we search for people who are proactive, good communicators and problem solvers. Due to the nature of our work, we work in multicultural teams to solve client problems. I find RMIT programs to be very up to date with market requirements. RMIT students have the advantage of being multilingual and outgoing, making them suitable for consulting work. A few of my team members are former RMIT students.

Enhance your skills by working on real marketing campaigns with industry partners as part of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experiences. Digital marketing companies task student teams to develop proposals for solving real business problems.

After the first courses that I took in the digital marketing major, I found the subject to be incredibly interesting. The program collaborated with big corporations, alumni entrepreneurs and young startups. This helped us to understand better the business world and the role marketing plays. I’m now leading a young startup. What I learnt in class has been applicable in several aspects. The connections I made have been truly valuable.

TRG’s Digital Advisory provides digital marketing, marketing automation and branding services. RMIT’s Digital Marketing students can apply their knowledge in internships with us. We have taken more than 500 interns and graduates from RMIT. An internship with TRG offers an experiential journey of discovery that aligns reality with theory. As a member of RMIT’s Industry Advisory Committee, I frequently speak at RMIT on a range of topics, including digital marketing.
