Christmas Bazaar Corner

Dear Families, Hard to believe that the Christmas Bazaar is a little less than two weeks away. It is one of the best events of the year, kids and parents alike look forward to the day. We realize this is a crazy time of the year but your help is still needed. As you know, we are asking for 12 like donations (more than one set is gladly accepted) so that each child can have the best shopping experience. These donations are needed as we are currently at only 1,700 out of our goal of 2,500 items. As an added incentive, for every set of 12 items donated, we will be issuing a voucher for a free ice cream/slushie in the cafeteria. There will be one voucher issued for every donation made from Dec 2nd through December 6th, so please keep bringing in your items! While we need quite a few donations, we do need items for teen boys and dads. Specific items needed at this time are: crayons, measuring cups, wooden spoons, spatulas, ear buds, and phone charging cords. We have had an abundance of sock donations, so while every donation is appreciated, we would ask that you donate other items at this time. In addition, if you have any used or new white string lights, we could use them for decorating. We will once again be offering a selection of $5 gift cards to ensure that no child leaves without a gift for someone. We are so excited to announce that this year, we will have Target and Lowe’s cards! And of course, Starbucks. All were purchased through the ShopWithScrip program to benefit our school. At the end of Bazaar, parents will be welcome to purchase any remaining cards. Important note for all volunteers: Your required Diocesan volunteer paperwork must be submitted to the school office by December 10th in order for you to attend. He will have a special gift for each student. Thank you to everyone for making this event such a fantastic day. We look forward to seeing you there!

Marian Central Catholic High School will again be hosting an all McHenry Deanery cheer exhibition on December 14th looking at 11:00am for participants 12:30pm for spectators.

This year we would LOVE to see all of your amazing cheerleaders perform a routine. Our idea is to make sure that each cheerleader and each school has an absolute blast doing something that we all love...CHEERING!!!

We will be running it where each team will have practice time, they will get announced and escorted out to the music of their choice and then perform a routine for all to enjoy without the pressure of judges and the competition.

All music must be on an iPhone or other smart phone to be played through our speaker system at school. Routines may not be longer than 3 minutes.

What your routine may include, but not all are needed. 1. Dance2. Cheer3. Stunting4. Tumbling5. Mandatory-nice loud voices and huge smiles!!!Combined grade levels are perfectly fine.

***We also have a cheer t-shirt available for pre-orders. If you would like to get a team order together, please just email me the sizes you would like and we will have them ready for you the day of the exhibition.

T-shirt price is $15.00 each, checks made payable to "Marian"

No charge to enter your team just have your team bring a canned good pet cheerleader, there will be a small entrance fee at the door for all spectators. All details and times to follow as soon as we have a confirmation from teams.

Please RSVP as soon as you can so that we can start piecing together a schedule for that morning.

Cheers! Coach Kimmi Randazzo and Coach Stephanie Newman Direct cell phone for any question 847-343-0904
