This course provides graduates with their first level of qualification required to enter the massage

industry. With a focus on therapeutic relaxation massage, the course provides a broad range of skills

and practical modalities, such as Swedish massage, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Reflexology and a sound

understanding of the principles of massage and the use of health industry-specific terminology.

COURSE DURATION: 20 weeks

CLASS DAYS: 3 days / week

CLASS TIME: 9am – 4pm

STUDENT CLINIC HOURS: 80 hours

Swedish (Relaxation) Massage

Deep Tissue Techniques

With an emphasis on the use of essential oils, students in this course will gain skills in a wide variety of

massage techniques for Spa treatment. For medical Aromatherapy, the chemistry of essential oils and

the art of blending for specific treatments will be mastered. The course also offers specific treatment

for different age groups including palliative care. This course makes you a QUALIFIED aroma therapist.

COURSE DURATION: 60 weeks

CLASS DAYS: 3 days / week

CLASS TIME: 9am – 12pm / 1pm – 4pm

STUDENT CLINIC HOURS: 120 aromatherapy treatments

This is MSQ’s star course. This course is designed to integrate all methods of massage into a holistic

approach to provide a comprehensive treatment plan based on the therapist’s ability to determine

the underlying cause of many musculoskeletal problems.

COURSE DURATION: 60 weeks

CLASS DAYS: 3 days / week

CLASS TIME: 9am – 12pm / 1pm – 4pm

With the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy, students can receive some advanced standings when

they enter to the Diploma of Remedial Massage or Clinical Aromatherapy. The first few months are

same as the Certificate IV so that they can spend time for student clinics or re-take same subjects for

free of charge.

COURSE DURATION: 60 weeks

CLASS DAYS: 3 days / week

CLASS TIME: 9am – 12pm / 1pm – 4pm

STUDENT CLINIC HOURS:

Remedial Massage: 200 hours

Clinical Aromatherapy: 120 aromatherapy treatments

In the Packaged Programs, you will learn a broad range of skills and practical modalities about

massage and aromatherapy.

During these programs, the common units may be reviewed and sat twice to ensure a better

understanding and deeper knowledge for free of charge.

Certificate IV + Diploma Program COURSE DURATION: 80 weeks

CLASS DAYS: 3 days / week

STUDENT CLINIC HOURS

Remedial Massage: 280 hours

Clinical Aromatherapy: 80 hours + 120 aromatherapy treatments

Double Diploma Program COURSE DURATION: 120 weeks

STUDENT CLINIC HOURS: 200 hours + 120 aromatherapy treatments

and lots of short courses from 1 day to 5 weeks.

AUSTRALIAN QUALIFICATION COURSES

CERTIFICATE IV IN MASSAGE THERAPY: 16 study weeks With this Certificate IV, you can join a massage association and therapist insurance and work as

a qualified massage therapist.

*Class days: 3 days per week

*Class time: 9am – 4pm including 1 hour break

*Student Clinic hour: 80 hours as rostered

*What is the difference between Student Visa course (20 weeks) and Working Holiday course

(16 weeks)? This difference is due to the following reasons.

Study weeks: 14 weeks

Weeks which student can spend only doing student clinic hours

Student Visa course: 6 weeks

Working Holiday Visa course: 2 weeks
