The Mind Lab offers an exciting choice of programme options for the School Holiday Summer Break. Fancy yourself as a programmer, a game developer, a visual effects expert or an inventor of robots? Enter The Mind Lab – a world of creativity and discovery.

Our Facilities

Situated at 69 Carlton Gore Road, opposite the Domain, we have ample parking behind our building, accessed at 110 Park Road. Our driveway is immediately adjacent to Grafton Railway Station and a number of bus routes pass close to our facilities.

Food is not provided so students can either bring their own lunch and snacks or purchase refreshments from our on-site café where a delicious selection of food for creative minds is available to purchase throughout the day.

What dO We OFFer

The Mind Lab offers a full programme of activities throughout the summer holidays, for children aged 4yrs to 14yrs. One hour workshops, half day camps and full day camps are scheduled in a range of subjects, giving you the opportunity to sample an exciting mix across the spectrum of technology, creativity and innovation.

School Holiday Full Day Camps run from 9am to 5pm; Half Day Camps can be booked in the morning sessions only (9am to 1pm) selecting from the morning schedule in our Split Day Camp options; or our one hour workshops are scheduled intermittently through the week.

PrOgramme datesOur School Holiday Programme commences on 11th December and runs through until 31st January.

clOsing datesThe Mind Lab will be closed from 23rd December until 6th January.

A magical movie making experience! Get behind the scenes and learn about cameras, write storyboards, act and edit as you are challenged on both sides of the camera to create a short film that will have your parents in awe of your talent.

Bright minds This ten week programme introduces inquisitive Pre-Schoolers (4-5 years) to a range of subjects including science, robotics, technology and discovery. Scheduled daily from 10am to 11am. Book 10 x 1hr workshops where different topics will be covered each week.

Workshops will introduce a variety of skills and media including stop motion and digital animation, photography, movie making and 3D modeling.
