School Principal
Madina Academy (www.MadinaAcademy.org), a pre K to 12 school located in Windsor, Connecticut, is
looking for an experienced and motivational educationalist to lead the school.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Masters Degree in Education from an accredited U.S. University
• Minimum 4 years teaching and administrative experience in an Islamic school setting in the U.S.
• Principal certification required
• Strong managerial experience and leadership qualities
• Experience in curriculum development, instruction and accreditation process
• Strong interpersonal, cross-cultural communication skills and ability to promote teamwork and
achieve results
• Flexible and ability to work under pressure
Responsibilities:
• Manage day to day school affairs
• Supervise staff and evaluate staff performance to achieve academic excellence
• Recruit, retain and develop staff
• Develop and implement school policies, programs and curricula
• Establish and promote Islamic environment & relationships with students, staff, parents and
community at large
• Work with Board and faculty to ensure a quality curriculum that meets or exceeds NEASC
requirements
• Manage school operating budget and participate in fund raising activities
