2020College Scholarship Application

2020 COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Over the past 31 years, SRT has contributed to the continuing education of many outstanding students in our local communities.
In 2020, SRT will award four $1500 scholarships to high school seniors who recognize the importance of volunteerism, community involvement, and academic achievement.
Eligibility n Customers receiving any service from
SRT and their dependents may apply for the scholarship.
n Graduating high school seniors are eligible to apply.
n Applicant must enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study no later than the fall term of the 2020-2021 school year at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the U.S.
n Applicant must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher (C average).
How to Apply 1. Complete the application form in full.

2. Prepare a 300 word essay on the following topic: How has technology made a significant impact on a person or business within your community?
3. Include your high school transcript.
4. No references accepted.
5. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Award Procedure n Four $1500 scholarships will be awarded to
first year (freshmen) college students.
n Winning applications will be based on community involvement, school activities, essay response, grade point average, and overall appearance of the application.
n Scholarship winners will be notified in April 2020.
n Scholarships will be awarded on a one-time basis and will not be renewable.
n The scholarship funds will be split evenly over 2 semesters, with checks issued in August 2020 and January 2021. The checks will be sent directly to the Financial Aid Office at the institution you plan to attend. Should your enrollment change, you must notify SRT immediately to prevent jeopardizing the scholarship.
n Scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.
Applications must be postmarked by March 2, 2020. Mail your application and supporting materials to:
