SCHNELL has been offering two different product families since 2017. The fi rst family relies on spark-ignition technology. These engines, which have been optimised for biogas applications, convert biogas into heat and power highly effi ciently. The second family, based on dual fuel technology, uses diesel engines. In this system, pilot fuel is injected into the combustion chamber to ensure optimal ignition of the compressed gas-air mixture. This technology produces exceptional effi ciencies with lean gas combustion.
TEDOM specialises in developing, producing, installing and operating CHP units all over the world. SCHNELL joined the TEDOM Group in October 2016, and both companies work closely together today. Thanks to this relationship, TEDOM Group is one of the largest CHP manufacturers in Europe with 900-plus employees and over 7,800 installed CHP units.
