Schedule of electricity deemed contract charges for non-half-hourly / half-hourly, non-domestic customersThese charges have been set out by British Gas Trading Limited in relation to the British Gas deemed contract. All electricity supplied under the contract from 1st April 2019 will be charged in accordance with this schedule.

We may offer to enter into a formal contract with you instead of charging you based on our deemed rates.

These charges are subject to change or withdrawal and can be changed with 30 days’ written notice. Your supply is also subject to terms and conditions. Unless we tell you otherwise, the charges in this schedule will apply to any customer supplied as a consequence of us receiving a direction from the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority (Ofgem) to act as the supplier of last resort.

Non-half-hourly rates and half-hourly whole current metersThe charges for non-half-hourly settled sites and half-hourly whole current settled sites are based on banded pricing depending on the profile class as shown in the following table and apply to all areas supplied by us. All prices are excluding VAT, which will be charged at the prevailing rate applicable to your business and Climate Change Levy (CCL).

Important informationThe energy market is changing the way meters with profile classes 05 - 08 are charged. This means that costs will eventually be based on how much electricity these meters use every half hour.

If your supply has recently been changed from non-half-hourly to half-hourly, you’ll continue to receive the non-half-hourly prices above unless we let you know otherwise.

Half-hourly ratesHalf-hourly settled electricity sites will be charged as shown in the tables overleaf (excluding whole current settled sites). The charges relate to each premises supplied under the scheme. All prices shown exclude VAT, CCL and other applicable indirect taxes, each of which will be charged at the prevailing rate applicable to your business. There may also be charges for excess reactive power and excess capacity.
