Harnessing the latest advances in wireless technology, a key unique feature of Scantex is that hand-held scanners used by your warehouse operatives connect wirelessly to Exchequer.
With seamless exchanges of live and updated data with your Stock and Order Processing modules in Exchequer, as your operatives move around your warehouse there is no need for them to upload or download data at a workstation or docking station after every order is picked.
This means that as soon as a customer’s sales order is entered onto Exchequer, it can be automatically presented for picking by your warehouse team using their hand-held devices. No matter how extensive your warehouse, operatives will be able to view the next customer order and start the picking and packing process within minutes of its receipt.

This can bring dramatic improvements in warehouse productivity, management control and customer service.
All the relevant variables stored within Exchequer are utilised to automate your picking and packing processes seamlessly, including barcode numbers, multi-location stock, bin locations, customer tag numbers, order status flags (such as ‘hold’), delivery dates, partial deliveries, automatic order conversions, and printing of delivery dockets.
In addition, while a sales order is being picked and processed, the corresponding SOR within Exchequer is locked for editing, removing the usual risks where data entered in the warehouse must then be synchronised with batch import/export third-party warehouse systems. Real time and direct integration truly mean real time and direct.
If you need serial traceability without the overhead of full serial number traceability within Exchequer, Scantex Lite Serial Tracking lets you simply scan the serial numbers as goods are despatched.

SSeamlessly links your Exchequer data to your hand-held screens to provide a management screen of your chosen system parameters, transactions, passwords and modules, with a complete history of all warehouse activity
SExchequer sales and purchase orders can be remotely picked/ received and converted into delivery notes, picked orders or invoices, as you choose
SFacilitates inter-location stock transfers, creates one or two-sided stock adjustments and automates your interim, location-specific or month-end stock takes
SAlso creates a bill of materials on the fly
GScantex Courier
An integrated courier option links your sales order picking and packing directly with your chosen couriers. In addition it automatically issuing your SDNs, SINs and a courier tracking number, and printing the courier documentation and labels. Scantex can also link to your courier’s website and upload all your despatch details for you.
This removes any need for a separate courier workstation or program, avoids bottlenecks in printing courier labels, and completely streamlines the despatch process. You save time and reduce the chance of introducing errors.
Scantex Courier already integrates with a number of couriers and additional courier links can be developed.
GMobile Scantex Merchandising
Where Wifi or 3G connectivity is available, your sales team or agents can merchandise your stock holding when visiting customer sites.
They can check for minimum stock levels, replenish or top up your stock on site, or take customer orders from pre-listed product ranges. All this can be achieved by being able to view and enter data on-site, without having to wait until they are back in the office.
You can then decide whether such a replenishment or order is to be a stock adjustment, sales quotation, sales order or sales invoice in Exchequer.
