The 31st Annual School of Sciences and Mathematics Research Poster Ses- sion was held on Thursday April 18th, 2019 on all three floors of the School of Science and Mathematics Building. 130 abstracts from the different schools of SSM were submitted this year. Seven SCAMP students presented their under- graduate research projects on that day. The 2019 ExCEL Awards ceremony was held Wednesday, March 27, 2019.

The 2019 Excellence in Collegiate Education and Leadership (ExCEL) Awards honored more than 30 students, staff, faculty and community members for their commitment to creating a campus environment that promotes diversity and excellence. The recipients were selected from more than 97 nominations. Six SCAMP students were recognized for their exemplary scholarship and service to the College.

Spring 2019

Each semester SCAMP students participate in several community outreach projects that help improve and give back to Charleston’s community. In the spring semester SCAMP students volunteered for the Lady Cougar STEM Day, Darwin Weeks, Math Meet, Accepted Student Weekend, Bridge Run, and MUSC Urban Garden.
