PROJECT: WWTP VRBAS Vrbas, waste water treatment plant, 2014-2016
CONTROL SYSTEM
The SCADA system includes two PLC configurations, one SCADA server and
two workstations, all of them interconnected by an Ethernet process data
network. Each PLC is equipped with one Operator Panel (MMI - Main
Machine Interface).

SCADA SERVER
Scada server as well as scada workstation supports operation on up to 2 physical monitors. Each monitor displays its own
process picture.
Functions:
Process supervision via process pictures (plant mimic).
The operator may monitor the process from the available screen views. However, all automation functions are
executed in the PLC. Scada operator starts/stops automatic mode and prescribe required parameters.
Acquisition of process measurements (historical management of process data, generation of log archives)
Real time data management
The system's database provides the acquisition of the information and makes it available from and towards each
component of the system.

Alarms and events management
The SCADA provides the management of the alarms (which do not cause stop) and of the faults (which force stop).
User (operator) management.
Available scada functionality depends on the actual user level that is assigned to each user/user group.

CONTROL SYSTEM
The SCADA system includes three PLC configurations and one SCADA server,
all of them interconnected by an Ethernet process data network. Each PLC is
equipped with one Operator Panel (MMI - Main Machine Interface).

- Technological Pumping Station (TPS)
- Ozonyzation system (OG)
- Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Filters Plant
- Reservoir with clean water
- Pumping Station and Blower Station for filter backwashing
- Hydrogen Peroxide System for removal of ozone residual in water
- Chlorine disinfection System
SCADA SERVER
Scada server supports operation on multiple physical monitors. Each
monitor displays its own process picture.
Scada server supports integration with multiple Scada clients (optional, not
required by the project).

CONTROL SYSTEM
The SCADA system includes 9 main PLC configurations, SCADA redundant
server (two SCADA servers running in redundant mode) and two SCADA
workstations, all of them interconnected by an Ethernet process data network.
Each PLC is equipped with one Operator Panel (MMI - Main Machine
Interface).
