formulate A.I. particles (~1 to 10 micron) are suspended in a

water-based liquid A.I. held in suspending media (water) by suspending

agents A.I. should not float, it should be evenly suspended The finished solution should not be too viscous

Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC)

• Ingredients include (A.I. Solvent, emulsifer pair)

• A.I. dissolved in a solvent with particle size ~0.01 of micron

• Emulsifers added to enable stability when diluted with a carrier (water)

• Selection of emulsifiers are critical to products stability

• Concentrate contains ~80% Volatile Organic Solvents

Suspension Concentrate (SC)

• Ingredients include (A.I. Antifreeze, biocide, dispersant, wetter, water)

• A.I. particles are ground to ~(1 to 10 micron)

• Suspending agents added to ensure solid A.I. remains suspended in the media (water)

• Particle size and selection of suspending agents are critical to products stability

have enough time to evenly dispense the suspension dilution)
