Explosion proof headlight type dHSR-2ÜL LED

The headlight type dHSR was specially designed for use in underground coalmining. The headlight can be installed on account of its compact and strong construction very well on movable mining machines for example heading machines, loading- and dinting machines, drilling jumbos.

The headlight dHSR was developed from the wellknown headlight type dHS 100, which was used on several types of movable mining machines and drilling jumbos. From 1984 till 2010 appr. 7000 headlights have been supplied to coalmines in Germany and all over the world.

The new headlight shines with a steady working light of 36 W. The dazzling effect of Headlights could be reduced by installation of a change-over from 54 W of high beam headlights to 36 W of dipped headlights substantially.

It can be switched either 36W working light or 54W full beam in connection with the optional use of our control panel STP 150.

A further technical advantage is the use of a microprocessor which is program-med to restrict the inrush current of the bulb to enlarge its lifetime.

All other control monitoring functions, for example switching low or full beam and output reduction are also managed by the microprocessor.

It also controls the power output of the thyristor to limit the maximum tempera-ture of the circuit board to 85° C.

The surface of the security glass is expanded to 17% and the angle of the light beam is extended from 60° to 90°.
