Education and Qualifications: I’m NOT a politician. I’m a Patriot--Exactlywhat we need since the Government, which was formed to secure ournatural rights, has become the greatest threat to them.

California is in serious trouble, and our Federal Government has made thingsworse by infringing our gun rights; grabbing our land and undermining

the rule of law, instead of securing our border, keeping illegal aliens andterrorists out.

Too many have died at the hands of those who shouldn’t be in our country—whether they are radical Islamists or criminal illegal aliens. I would neverhave voted to allow 300,000 more potential terrorists into the countryafter the San Bernardino terrorist attack—while failing to restore pensionpayments for millions of active duty and retired military personnel.

Education and Qualifications: When I joined the Marine Corps to fight inthe Vietnam War, I did so to protect our American values and ideals. Aftertwo Purple Hearts and 26 years of service, I continue this effort as yourrepresentative in Congress. I humbly ask for your support as I defend the

interests of our rural communities and those of the American people.

In Congress, I’ve fought against efforts by the federal government to restrictour access to public lands, and I authored a bill to protect the historic AlabamaHills. In addition, I voted to increase federal funding for fire protection andeliminate bureaucratic barriers to solving California’s water shortage.

As your representative, I’ll continue to support policies that strengthen ournational security. I opposed the flawed Iran Nuclear Deal because the Iraniangovernment is the largest state-sponsor of terror in the world, and I’ve foughtto sanction North Korea for its nuclear and missile programs. After the terrorattacks in Paris and San Bernardino, I voted to close loopholes in the visaprocess that make it easier for terrorists to enter our country.

I pledge to advocate for policies that promote domestic job creation andgrow the American economy, which is why I support the construction of theKeystone XL pipeline and oppose job-killing over-regulation.

Occupation: 2nd District Inyo County Supervisor

Education and Qualifications: It’s been a great honor serving the last fouryears as your county supervisor. I am proud to represent such a caringcommunity and beautiful area.

My dedication to Bishop is proven through hundreds of hours of volunteeringsuch as Mule Days, 4H, foster parenting, the Round Valley Fire BenefitDinner, Methodist Soup Kitchen and many others. I have demonstrated myleadership abilities with many organizations including Rotary, ESTA, ESCOG,CSAC, Eastern Sierra Foundation, Inyo Arts Council, and many more.

Our Board has worked together to tackle difficult issues while treatingcitizens with respect, truly listening, maintaining balanced budgets,developing public and private partnerships, and searching for solutions thatimplement the public will.

I plan to continue to build a sustainable economy through developmentof broadband Internet service and the airport, provide educational andrecreational opportunities for our youth, ensure the responsible access andprotection of our federal lands, and keep a steady hand on LADWP.

RIGHTSYOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING RIGHTS:

1The right to vote if you are a registered voter.

You are eligible to vote if you are:

a U.S. citizen living in California

at least 18 years old

registered where you currently live

not in prison or on parole for a felony

2The right to vote if you are a registered voter

even if your name is not on the list. You

will vote using a provisional ballot. Your

vote will be counted if elections officials

determine that you are eligible to vote.

3The right to vote if you are still in line when

the polls close.

4The right to cast a secret ballot without

anyone bothering you or telling you how to

vote.

5The right to get a new ballot if you have made

a mistake, if you have not already cast your

ballot. You can:

Ask an elections official at a polling place

for a new ballot; or

Exchange your vote-by-mail ballot for a

new one at an elections office, or at

your polling place; or

Vote using a provisional ballot, if you

do not have your original vote-by-mailballot.

6The right to get help casting your ballot

from anyone you choose, except from your

employer or union representative.

7The right to drop off your completed

vote-by-mail ballot at any polling place in the

county where you are registered to vote.

8 The right to get election materials in alanguage other than English if enough people

in your voting precinct speak that language.

The right to ask questions to elections

officials about election procedures and

watch the election process. If the person

you ask cannot answer your questions, they

must send you to the right person for an

answer. If you are disruptive, they can stop

answering you.

10The right to report any illegal or fraudulent

election activity to an elections official or

the Secretary of State’s office.

What to do if you have moved or would like to vote by mail

The last day to register to vote in this election is May 23. If you move after this date, you can vote at your old polling

place for this election. If you moved before May 23 and did not re-register you need to call or come to our office. W

will update your address and issue you a ballot.

If you would like to vote by mail, complete and sign the application printed on the back cover and return it to the

elections office.

If you check the permanent vote by mail voter box on the application a ballot will automatically be sent to you for futur

elections.

Returning your vote by mail ballot:

Voters may return only their own Vote by Mail Ballot, in person or by mail, to the Clerk’s Office or at any polling plac

in the county no later than 8:00 P.M. on Election Day, or be postmarked on or before Election Day and received no late

than three days after Election Day to be counted. However, a voter, who because of illness or other physical disability

is unable to return his/her ballot, may designate in writing, his/her spouse, child, parent, grandparent, grandchild

sibling or anyone residing in voter’s household to return the ballot to the election official or polling place.

Assistance for the visually, hearing, or speech impaired

The Secretary of State’s Office has a TDD (Telecommunications Device for the Deaf) for registration and election

information: 1-800-833-8683 (1-800-TDD-VOTE). For the Visually Impaired, audio tapes of State Ballot Measures ar

available from the County Clerk, Elections Division, (760) 878-0224.

If the polling place is not indicated as accessible, a precinct board member will take a regular ballot to a

disabled person if requested.
