The IGCCC capitalizes on achievements, global connections and networks linked to global creative
cultures and economies of prestige and on our reputational advantages as leaders in the study of globalcinema and digital developments !ventually, it will provide space for collaborations for faculty members
from across the "niversity whose work relates to creative cultures , so as to enable tapping into a widerpool of resources IGCCC is involved in partnerships with institutions from !urope and #sia In the first
instance, the work of the Institute is focused on teaching, research and publishing
TeachingIGCCCs C$%&postgraduate programme, to be offered in a blended learning format, will recruit
internationally and will be delivered by making use of new technologies Teaching is a combination ofresidential sessions and on'line work It comprises of week'long postgraduate C$% modules in the area
of film and festival curation and global distribution in the digital era, which will be linked in a way thatwould also permit the award of a $G certificate or (asters )ualification *hilst teaching takes place in a
variety of location, the administration for all activities is out of +t #ndrews
PHD ProgrammeThe doctoral programme will evolve in close collaboration with ilm +tudies and other +chools within the
#rts aculty
Research and events-esearch at IGCCC covers a wide area of global initiatives The IGCCC seeks to organise high profile
events under the auspices of the "niversity of +t #ndrews and prestigious international partners
Publishing
The IGCCC will continue the work of +t #ndrews ilm +tudies publishing initiative, which puts out theacclaimed ilm estival .earbook series, aiming to publish between / and 0 books per annum
Institute ffice+taff in the office work closely with colleagues in the #rts aculty, with associate tutors, and liaise

The #cademic +upport 2fficer is responsible for the organisation and successful running of IGCCCsteaching programmes, research, events, and publishing activities +&he works closely with the %irectorand other academic and affiliate staff The #cademic +upport 2fficer oversees the preparation of
proposals, institutional reviews, and reports, as well as for the creation and maintenance of Institutesoutreach materials and web'site
