thinking big to
grow big!The greatest challenge of running a small business is breaking themindset of thinking small. As a new generation of entrepreneursis stepping on to center stage, they recognize that the need of thehour is to think big. The new age entrepreneur does not see
growth as limited by present conditions or by prevailing
externalities. Growth today is driven by vision. The bigger the
vision, the bigger the strategy and the bigger the growth
achieved.
This is not say that small business is without challenge. Small
business owners know more than anybody about the everyday
struggle to keep a business running profitably. Acquiring finance, getting the right technology, building team, and setting up
processes and systems all are issues that need to be tackled while
looking to build growth. The mindset change required is the
realization that all this, and more, can be and must be overcome.
In its fourth avatar the Small Business Congress 2013/Small
Business Awards 2013 has established itself as the foremost
platform that urges small business owners to think big. Here small
business is big business as individual experience becomes a
source for collective wisdom through shared learning, shared
resources and shared networks. The exposition attracts top-of-
the-line business enablers looking to provide the crucial assist
required to meet big goals. The Small Business Congress2013/Small Business Awards 2013encourages small business
owners to shrug off an extreme inward focus and move beyond
the limitations of current resources to acquire the capacity of
thinking and implementing big ideas.
I welcome you to join the forum for small business with big
appetites for growth.

Every business has to start somewhere. In the early days of the journey from
an idea to enterprise we visualize the business opportunity by creatively
identifying market demands and analyzing competitors. Soon entrepreneurs
and business professionals get so preoccupied with immediate issues that
they often lose sight of the ultimate objectives they wished to achieve in
their organization. It is difficult to build growth strategies when you lose
connect with the big vision with which you started.
Small Business Congress is a two-day event packed with perspective
building insight, training, coaching and mentoring for small businesses
during their critical start-up years and getting ready to take up growth
challenge. Small Business Congress tackles all the stages small and medium
enterprises go through -- emergent, start-up companies, mid-tier businesses
and successful large organizations. The conference will be led by the best of
the breed of entrepreneurs. It will consist of a series of interactive panels,
talk series, workshops and one-to-one speed business coaching sessions.
