Before School-Front Entrance

Natasha: Oh my gosh… No way…

Theresa: It can’t be!!!

Jenny: It is!!

All Girls: It’s Tim Baeder’s tour bus!!!!

Tim walks off his bus. A crowd of screaming girls runs to the bus.

Tim: Whoa!!! I thought everybody was over the whole me being a star

thing!!!

He pushes through the crowd into school.

2nd Period Switch

Julie: Michael, can we talk please??

Michael: Leave me alone.

Julie: Please Michael!!! I just want to say something!!!

Michael: What else do you need to say?!?!? No?? The word you’ve wanted

to say to me for the past two months that you just couldn’t bring yourself to

say??

Julie: Nooo… What I wanted to say is…

She gets down on one knee. Everyone in the hallway stops moving and makes a crowd.

Julie: Will you marry me??Michael: It took you long enough.

She stands up and they kiss.

Everyone: Awwwwwwwww!!!

3rd Period Lunch

Tammy: Diandre!!!!

Diandre: Hey!!!!

Tammy: I’m so glad you’re okay!!!

She hugs her.

Tammy: You are okay right??

Diandre: Yeah, I have a few small scars and discoloration from where I got

burned like on my side and my stomach, but other than that I’m perfectly

fine.

Tammy: Great!! Oh… what about Tommy??

Diandre: Oh… Well… he… uhm….

Tammy: “uhm” what???Diandre: He… died…

Tammy: Tommy died??

Diandre: His burns were too severe, doctors tried to treat him but I was told

he died while in the hospital.

Tammy: Wow… that’s really sad.

Diandre: What’s even worse was that, I don’t think he would have died if it

wasn’t for me… He saved me from the fire. He gave his life for me…

Tammy: Oh come on, Diandre it wasn’t your fault. It’s not like you killed

him yourself.

Diandre stays silent. Tammy hugs her.

Tammy: Cheer up!! This is a whole new year. It’s about time to leave it all

behind and start fresh. We’re upperclassmen now!! We can do anything!!

Diandre: Anything??

Tammy: Anything!!! Like, what’s something you’ve always wanted to do??

Diandre: Well… I… I’ve always wanted to run for homecoming court.

Tammy: Then do it!! You could definitely win. You’re really nice, popular,

everyone likes you. You couldn’t lose!!Diandre: Yeah, I guess you’re right…

Tammy: I know I’m right!!

Diandre: I’m gonna do it. I’m gonna run for Homecoming Princess!!!



AP Lang-Ms. Beers

The bell rings.

Ms. Beers: Remember your Identity essays are due tomorrow!! Work hard,

but not too hard!!

Julie: Hey my fiancé!!

Michael: Hey…

Ms. Beers: Fiancé??

They kiss and walk down the hallway.

Julie: So, I’ve been wondering for a while now… We can’t possibly getmarried can we??

Michael: What are you talking about?? I thought you wanted to!!!

Julie: No, no… I mean, is there a legal way we could get married?? Like, do

we have to get parental consent or something??

Michael: Well, these are Maryland’s marriage laws… If you’re under 18,

we both have to get parental consent from our parents in order to marry…

Julie: What?? My parents would never let me get married at 16…

Michael: But… there’s an exception to the law… If you have a child, no

parental consent is needed.

Julie: But, Billiam isn’t our child. He’s… well… you know…Michael: Well, first of all, he might as well be my child; I helped name him,

I was there when he was born, I take care of him whenever you can’t… but

it doesn't matter, he doesn’t even have to be my biological son for us to be

married. You had him, I want to become his legitimate father, that’ll happen

if we get married and we don’t need parental consent to do it.

Julie: Oh, Michael that’s amazing!!

They hug and kiss.

5th Period-Lunch

Tim walks in with two bodyguards next to him and sits down at Moses’s table.

Moses: Whoa, Tim, what’s with the big guys??



Tim: Oh… you haven’t noticed the mob of freshmen girls following me

around all day??? I had to call these guys to keep me safe. Those girls are

crazy…

Moses: Well, they’ve never seen you in person before, so of course they’re

going crazy.

Tim: Oh that’s true… Damn, that means I’m going to have to go through

this every year…

Moses: Yep, that’s what you get for being famous I guess…

Mr. Pryor: Will Julie Houchens please report to the guidance office, I

repeat, Will Julie Houchens please report to the guidance office???

Julie: Okaaaay….

She walks up to the guidance office into Mr. Heintzelman’s room.

Guidance Office

Julie: Michael??

Mr. Heintzelman: Sit down Julie…

Julie: Okaaay…

Mr. Heintzelman: I’ll just get right down to the point… One of your

teachers over heard you talking about the two of you getting… ummm…

enagaged??

Michael: That’s correct.Mr. Heintzelman: Well, umm… you two know that marriage is forever

right?? It’s not something you can just break when things aren’t going well.

Julie: We know that.

Mr. Heintzelman: I know it’s not any of the school’s business on whether

or not you kids get married.

Michael: You’re right, it’s not.

Mr. Heintzelman: But it is our responsibility to keep you kids safe from the

outside world, and each other if the times call for it.

Julie: So, what?? Are you actually going to try and prevent us from gettingmarried or something??

Mr. Heintzelman: No, we’re just umm… trying to give you some uhh…

guidance. That’s what we’re here for right??

Julie: Look, you’re here to guide us with schoolwork and college and our

testing and stuff like that. But you don’t help us with social problems like

our love lives or popularity issues. So what makes this any different, huh??



Mr. Heintzelman: We’re just trying to make sure you kids make the right

decision…

Julie: But you have no control over what decision we make. Come on

Michael, let’s go…

They stand up and walk out.

Mr. Heintzelman: Trust me guys you’re making a big…

Josh and Abby land the leadsin the school play…

Josh: Hey Abby, looks like we’re gonna be opposite each other in Rumors.



Abby: Cool…

Josh: So should we start practicing kissing now or later??

Abby: What??

Josh: Kidding!! I’m kidding.

But it’s all just acting right??Josh: Wow… that was great…

Abby: Yeah…

Josh: Wanna… “practice” again??

Abby: Sure...
