It’s why it exists, the core reason for being. With this in mind, Enigma is a result of looking for the best way to make space saving simpler for you, with no compromise on design.

Having grown resources to include a dedicated technical department, we’ve given pocket doors

a new identity, and strive to provide you with the specialist service you require; hoping to inspire creative boundaries to be pushed in interior design, regardless of space limits.

Limitless possibilities

Frustratedbylimitation&complexity?

It doesn’t need to be that way. From every angle we’ve designed the Enigma system to be simple, at all stages. Simple to understand, to specify, to install and to use.

We know the importance of durability on a pocket door, and that’s why we take utmost care in the strength and robustness in the design of the Enigma system. The cavity is formed using aluminium profiles, specifically designed to provide the most strength with the smallest profile.

Qualitycomponents,ethicallysourced

Every care and attention has gone into creating a system which is beautiful in design and effortless to operate. The maintenance-free running gear is manufactured by GEZE and provides a virtually silent operation.

If FSC material is specified you can be confident that our solid hardwood timber is fully certified and manufactured from steamed beech, primed ready for on-site painting. Manufactured from high-performance steel, the metal frames provide a robust and seamless finish once plastered in.

Nomoreuncompliantspecifications

Creating a fully compliant specification can be challenging; and that’s why we’re determined to create an effortless experience.

Enigma is acoustically rated to 24dB as standard. Also, each doorset design has the option of an FD30 fire rating enabling application throughout your building. All Enigma sliding pocket doors are fitted with a remote stop as standard, allowing you to adjust the back stop of the pocket door kit once plaster boarded and door leaf has been installed, ensuring complete control of your finished doorset.

Utilise every inch of your floorspace

Traditional Inwardopeningdoor

A conventional internal door requires a large area of floorspace to be kept clear to allow for operation. Once open, the door blocks the wall behind leaving a dead-space where light switches, sockets or other room details can’t be placed

as access is limited.

Enigma Slidingpocketdoor

The Enigma system forms its own cavity into a single wall space so once fully opened the door is almost completely

concealed. This means more free space around the openings and complete flexibility with the positioning of required

electrical interfaces.

Enigma System Options

Perpendicularwall

Used for applications where a door closes against a flat wall; the perpendicular wall jamb profile is provided.

This does away with the need to have a protruding nib and thus provides the appearance a flush finished wall.

Self-supportinghead

For situations where you can’t fit the head of the pocket door kit directly to the building ceilings, or floor slab and deflection tolerance is required the Enigma system can be supplied with a self supporting head beam.

This enables the head to be fitted either end and support up to 120kg.

Electricalsockets

Unlike other pocket door systems, Enigma has the ability to easily fit electrical sockets into the wall of the pocket side.

The only requirement is the use of a ‘double boarded’ Enigma kit and fitment of a 36mm deep dry-lining socket box. The cables are run with trunking on the inside of the plasterboard.

The 130N Enigma touch latch allows you to completely conceal the door leaf within the cavity and eject the door with a small push of the leaf, causing the door to gently spring back into the opening. This also means that no ironmongery is required on the leading edge of the door.

Important When using door heights of 2.3m+ it is recommended the wall is double boarded. This results in a 145mm wall thickness.

NOTE If using 2 layers of 12.5mm plasterboard add ‘145’ to the product code.

Specify frame type by adding the codes below:
