We have rescue Pit Bulls and pit mixes urgently awaiting for forever and loving homes. Pit Bulls are in significant crisis right now and are desperate to find good homes. Only 1 in 600 will have the chance for this loving opportunity. We are trying to reach people who love this breed and want to help them. There are several dying daily due to the massive amount of over breeding and we try to save as many as we can, but it is very few. If anyone in this area would like to adopt one of these wonderful dogs, please let us know. If you need any information on this breed, we will be happy to provide that for you. Potter was originally

purchased from a puppy

mill for hunting dogs in

Abilene, TX. He did

have some field &

hunting training with

his first owner, but was

not really ever kept as a

family pet. His owner

became ill and that is

when he ended up with

us. He was very shy

and we knew it would

take a special adopter to

take him under their

wing and allow him to

gain their trust. When

a sweet couple called

wanting to meet him,

we were excited. They

liked him so much, they

decided to take Potter

home the same day they

met him for a trial run.

He is doing great and

they decided to keep

him. He now lives in a

loving home with a

Brittany Spaniel. He

gets to sleep in a warm

bed and go on walks.

His new owners say he

is really starting to

come out of his shell.

He does not tuck his tail

as much and loves to

try new things (with

treats of course). We

are so happy for him!

LOOK HOW LONG WE HAVE BEEN WAITING...

GABE DONATED HIS BIRTHDAY PRESENT TO HELP OUR DOGS...

Bulls. One of our

furry children is half

pit, and we have

witnessed firsthand

the naivety and

stereotyping

associated with the

breed. We greatly

admire your

compassion and

selflessness and just

wanted to help in

some small way.

We hope that other

children will be

inspired to also give

up a few toys in an

attempt to help those

who cannot help

themselves. May God

bless you and all of

those in your care!

-Julie (Gabe’s mom)

Each year at Gabe's

birthday party, we

select an

organization and ask

friends and neighbors

to bring items to be

donated instead of

gifting a toy, etc. (he

gets lots of toys from

family). This year, we

wanted to solicit

donations on behalf

of an animal rescue

organization as our

family includes five

canines, three of

whom were once street

kids. Lollipop Farm is

near our home, and

through Internet

research, we

discovered your

efforts to rescue Pit

We are a trio of friends that have bonded together

through our love for dogs. Within our group, we have a groomer/boarding kennel owner, a vet tech

and a pharmacist with a love for animals. We have multiple conformation and obedience titles between

us, which gives us a great insight in to the soundness of temperament and structure in the dogs

we rescue. We live in a city that has a huge over population issue in dogs, and a lack of city budget to help remedy the situation. Our local shelter does the

best they can, but are in constant need of outside help to get the huge number of dogs, especially Pit

Bulls, that come through their doors get placed. We are a rescue contact for our city shelter and do the

best we can to help these deserving dogs get homes. We have no outside funding, so we are only able to

take on a few dogs at a time due to budget restraints. We want the dogs we rescue to end up in forever

homes; therefore, we are particular about where these dogs go.

called to ask for our help.

When he arrived he was

emaciated and had an

obvious old injury to one of

his back legs. There also

appeared to be some muscle

wasting involved. When he

began to regain his strength

and put on weight, we

decided to go ahead and

have him neutered. At this

time, his X-rays showed he

had a broken pelvis and his

femur had been broken at

the ball and hip socket.

Joshua was dumped in the

country and a nice lady

These injuries were old and

have healed to the best of

his body’s ability; however,

he may need some type of

help with his hip in the

future. He is a very sweet

dog who loves people and

his walks. He does well

with other female dogs. He

is a great dog and we know

after you meet him, that you

will fall in love! If you are

interested, please contact us.
