Every piece has a place in God’s Plan. No one piece is oponal. How frustrang it would be to put together a 3000-piece puzzle only to find one of the pieces missing at the end! That’s how God sees us. Every piece is important! Everyone is needed to complete the divine puzzle. When all the pieces fit together, the world can see a beauful, completed picture of the heart of Jesus for people everywhere. (Doing Church as a Team, Wayne Cordiero, p.64) How do we find our place in God’s plan? One way at FPC is to join a Grace Group, a small group of people who meet several mes monthly for informal fellowship, group study and prayer. The purpose of Grace Groups is to deepen relaonships with each other and with Christ. We are seeking people to start new groups or add to exisng groups. Several groups meet only during the late fall & winter months. For more informaon, call the church office, or Linda Irvin (520-560-5487) or Carol Adamavich (520-705-3228). Community Interacon/Involvement is a new sub-ministry of Missions Ministry. Missions and several other FPC ministries regularly parcipate in outreach events and projects. This fall, our Community Interacon/Involvement team parcipated in two more community acvies, has another planned for this month, and will support other Missions Ministry projects. On September 24th, we hosted a booth at “CG Silent Witness An-Crime Night” at Vista High School. We wore our FPC t-shirts. Our FPC banner skirted our table. Our posted signs stated: Jesus Gives Living Water and Prayer Requests. We gave out boled water, Chrisan wrist bands, took prayer requests, prayed with several individuals, and invited those without a church family to join us here at FPC.

On October 5th, we had a booth at “Trick or Treat Trot” sponsored by CG Parks and Recreaon at Carr McNa Park. Staoned on the new running track, we gave away candy to the kids who troed around the track. About 1,500 kids and parents parcipated. The kids were so cute, many dressed up in their Halloween costumes. On November 16th we plan to be wearing our FPC t-shirts and giving out water

boles, juice boxes and cookies at the “Family Olympics” event sponsored by CG Parks and Recreaon at the new Rec Center.

If you’re interested in helping us or joining our team, please contact Larry Pazier @ 303-908-6325. If you’re not able

help with a project or event, please be an ambassador for Christ and FPC by inving someone to or welcoming

someone at worship. Thank you.

What do you do to escape the heat in Casa Grande and bring back memories of long - long- ago? You drive to the Navajo Naon in Leupp, Arizona and paint outdoor bathrooms. Remember those lile buildings? First Presbyterian Church sent eleven missioners to Leupp to pull weeds, replace windows, clean out a storage room, re-organize a thri store, and paint "out houses." Fun and cool! In October, congregaon members picked up plasc shoe boxes for Operaon Christmas Child and are filling them with special gis for boys and girls all over the world. Missions received a gi of about 40 pillowcase dresses/blouses to be placed in the boxes for young girls. Be sure to follow the list of suggested items and return the boxes to the church by Sunday, November 17th. Postage for each box is $9.00. The Annual Bake and Rummage Sale is scheduled in the FLC on November 9th from 7:00 am ll noon. You can volunteer to help with the sale by providing baked goods, donang gently used items, helping to sort and price items and/or working the day of the sale. A schedule for when you can drop off donated items is available in the bullen. This is one of our major funds raising events of the year to help support our mission efforts at FPC. On November 13th we are scheduled to volunteer again at Laundry Love. We will be calling people who volunteered to work from 3:00-5:00 and 5:00-7:00pm. Remember, all you have to do is put coins in the washers and dryers and hand out drinks or snacks. On Sunday, November 24th, we begin our Angel Tree project. Congregaon members can select a tag off the Christmas tree to purchase a gi for the child of an incarcerated parent.

Seeds of Hope We hope you were able to see the display of clay masks that our aerschool children and our senior group collaborated in making as part of Hispanic Heritage month. The parcipants were prey excited that their project went on display throughout CG during the month. Lisa Swanson facilitated everyone working together on each mask. Thanksgiving is coming up next month and once again SOH will be collaborang with others in town in pung on the Thanksgiving Day Meal Thursday November 28th at the Elks Lodge. If your interested in helping out or donang food items - please call our office! We have our fall garden planted. If your interested in working on it with us please stop by the office. Our next step will be pung in our labyrinth in the SW corner of the garden. Don’t forget to support the annual Rummage sale on November 9th. Great reason to clean out the garage! We need lots of volunteers the week prior and on that Saturday in making this an annual success. Proceeds benefit our church’s Mission work. For more informaon on these events or on any of our ministry’s follow us on facebook, our website www.seedsoopeaz.com or call our office at 836-6335. Blessings to All, Mark
