ST. ANTHONY NOVENA This annual devotion continues each Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM through the Feast of St. Anthony of Padua in June. All are welcome to honor St. Anthony and ask his intercession for our needs.

WELLNESS SUNDAY NEXT WEEK

• The communal celebration of the Sacrament of the Sick is being held next Sunday, June 4, after the 10:30 AM Mass. If you are planning to have surgery, experiencing health problems or facing the challenges of aging, you are welcome to celebrate the sacrament.

• Blood pressure screening will also be held in the Parish Library from 8:00 AM - Noon.

PRAYER LINK ON MSP WEBSITE All parishioners are encouraged to check out the prayer request link on the home page of the MSP website. Please use it for your prayer intentions and in turn, consider praying for the needs of the other requests on the link. Members of the Addolorata Society took the initiative to create this prayer opportunity, and they hope that it is used frequently. Feel free to pass on the website information to non-parishioners as well! TRASH & TREASURE SALE Clean out your closets, garage and basement - it's time for our annual sale! Items may be dropped off in Marble Hall on Monday June 12 and Tuesday June 13 from 9:00 Am - 5:00 PM. PLEASE - no TVs, computers, clothing and/or large furniture. PEACE CAMP 2017 Strengthening our Community

one PEACE at a Time Peace Camp is just around the corner! Families can register their children in grades 2 through 8 for the week of June 26 - 30. Applications for college counselors and high school aides as well as registration for campers in grades 2 through 8 are also being accepted. All forms are available on the MSP Website.

LEGACY SOCIETY Don't forget!!! It’s an event not to be missed. Next Saturday, June 3 at 5:30 PM in Marble Hall is MSP’s “Night on Broadway” sponsored by the MSP Legacy Society. All parishioners are welcome to come and enjoy great selections from Once Upon a Mattress, Showboat, Les Miserables, Connie’s Hot Chocolates and West Side Story with a special added medley of Frank Sinatra songs. There may even be a sing-along. Come enjoy the music and great food and drink as we also take time to remember the past, celebrate the present and plan for the future. ZANER-BLOSER HANDWRITING CONTEST Mary Queen of Apostles is very proud to announce that Louisa Palumbo (Grade 2) has been named as a State Grade-Level Winner in the Zaner-Bloser Handwriting contest. Louisa received an engraved Zaner-Bloser State Winner medallion. Louisa’s teacher, Mrs. Kathy Hetu, received an engraved Glass Diamond award, and MQA received a $200 Zaner-Bloser certificate. Louisa was one of approximately 275,000 students who participated in this year’s contest and she is now eligible to compete for a Grand National Champion title.
