Nifty opened at 10850 in the current week, it went up to 10933 and had closed at

10901. Indian Cash Market Benchmark Index, Small Cap opened at 4909, made a

weekly high of 4918 and closed at 4851. The major players of the market, FII &

PRO were standing at a net position of 63973 as on 17th July 2020. Nifty Trend

indicates “Buy” as per yesterday’s data. The market is in up-trend and is likely to

continue.

According to past one-month performance of the sector, among the Major sectors,

Chemical has shown growth by 13.02%, Financial Services have made an

increment by 12.22%. Sectors like Infrastructure, Construction and Engineering,

IT and Pharma have also made a growth of 11.85%, 11.36% and 11.10%

respectively. Among the Minor sectors, Packaging, Defence and Financial Broking have shown growth by 18.89%, 16.14% and 15.27% respectively.

500 (futures) opened at 3224, made a weekly high 3186 and closed at 3224. Hong

Kong Benchmark Index, Hang Seng opened at 25142 and closed at 25089. The

Japan Benchmark Index, Nikkei opened at 22807, went up to 22964 and closed at

22696.
