Our Fly Fishing 101 classes will provide you with lessons on fly casting and outfit rigging. 12−2PM Spring Fly Fishing for Trout Join Fishing Manager Drew Nisbet for a discussion on local opportunities to fly fish for wild & stocked trout in Western New York. This seminar will discuss access points, stream conditions, and bug hatches along with the proper tackle & technique to catch more trout! Topics covered will include reading water, tight line nymphing, indicator drifting, dry fly fishing, and stripping/swinging streamers. 3−4PM Euro-nymphing Join Adam Slavinski as he explores the dynamic world of European tight- line nymphing. He will show the techniques, setup, rigging, flies, and gear used in this proven & effective method to catch more fish! Join us for a short outing on local water for a chance to catch your first fish!
