BOSTON SCIENTIFIC : Spinal Cord Stimulation Controller

For people suffering from severe chronic pain due to accidents

or old age, spinal cord stimulation is a solution. This device

enables users to easily select there pain points and send electrical

impulses to an implanted device. The device is designed to be

non-intrusive to daily life. The controller design features an intuitive

physical and digital user interface. The design is modern and sleek and

not clunky like typical medical apparatus.

KANEX - Thunderbolt 2 Express Dock

Kanex tasked us with developing a new Thunderbolt 2 dock

that would capture the attention of Mac lovers while providing

connectivity to eight devices on a Macbook. The exoskeleton design

language features crisp details that call out the features of the product

is uses premium materials to communicate the power and speed of the

dock.

The dock maximizes productivity in the home or office. A built-in HDMI port

can transfer data and display up to 4K resolutions for HDTV. 3 SuperSpeed USB

3.0 ports provide fast connectivity.

EMATIC - Android Gaming Controller & Media Hub

Ematic approached Satellite to design a new gaming controller

and media hub for the growing Android market. The design of the

controller features a multi-sided physical interface. Side A allows the

user to use full gaming functions while Side B allows the user to search

and type while in TV viewing mode.

The stealth design language features ergonomic controls and crisp details

visualizing the power in your hands.

EMATIC - Android Gaming Tablet

To break into the growing Android gaming market, Ematic tasked

Satellite, with fine-tuning their FunTab gaming tablet. Our challenge

was to develop sliding interface panels that would provide superior

game play controls and would tuck away for tablet use.

The stealth design language features ergonomic controls and crisp details

visualizing the power in your hands.

BELKIN - Secure Keyboard, Video, Monitor Switch

Belkin’s Secure KVM switch enables military and government

agencies to securely view classified and non-classified networks.

The device enables the sharing of peripheral devices, such as high-

resolution displays, audio equipment, and common access cards.

The impervious design language features minimal entry points, modifiable

color coded chips, and a CNC’ed aluminum housing to convey security.

Secure KVM was co-developed with the Industrial Design and Product

Development team at Belkin.

ICACHE - Digital Wallet

iCache asked us to develop a first to market digital wallet case for

the iPhone. The digital wallet stores all credit cards on your iPhone

and transfers credit card info, as needed, to a proprietary credit card

app. Geode also allows you to save and use loyalty cards via an e-ink

screen. The custom credit card works on standard checkout terminals

and bank card readers.

The design of the case is slim and compact. The design language of the

product is based on Geode crystal formations (hard protective outer shell

with a precious interior).

PELICAN : U160 Photographer Pack

Pelican, a company known for rugged protective cases, asked

Satellite to help them break into the mainstream consumer market

by developing a new line of prosumer backpacks, duffel bags and

luggage. The U160 pack design is crush-proof, water tight, and has easy

to access storage. The urban explorer design language compliments

the Pelican ecosystem while extending the family.

U160 was co-developed with StudioFAR and Pelican.
