Traceable and sustainable productionOur Yellowtail comes from Sashimi Royal A/S in Thy, Denmark. Here you’ll find one of the world’s most modern onshore saltwater fish facilities, which produces the delicious yellowtail in a gentle, eco-friendly and sustainable manner.
The company produces its own fry at its sister company, Maximus, hatched from fertilised eggs produced by selected broodstock.
Our high-quality fish grown in dedicated facilities on land without use of any kind of either antibiotics or medicines. No form of parasites, disease or pollution has ever been found in the fish or the facility. Furthermore, the fish are fed with feed that meets ASC standard.
The fish lives in filtered, cleaned, and recirculated saltwater from the North Sea.
ASCWe have been certified by Aquaculture Council which means we deliver responsibly farmed products by minimizing the environmental and social footprint of commercial aquaculture.
Right by the sea
A quick and humane slaughtering of the fish, followed by bleeding out in ice water, ensures that the high quality of meat is retained.
We have received the certificate of approval from Quality Seafood London LTD that proves we follow the procedure of: Bleeding-Cutting the spinal nerve system – Cooling in order to improve the quality of the product
