PERSONAL PROFILE
With a decade’s experience in the Education sector, I have developed my professional practice across creating
and delivering programs to EAL students from Prep through to VCE level. In my role as EAL Specialist Teacher
at Collingwood College, I designed and implemented programs to primary aged students to develop their
understanding of the English Language through meaningful play and role-play activities. Here, I also provided
initiated new programs for Year 7-11 students with a view to enhance academic English writing and speech
ablil ities, as well as improve reading skills.
Most recently my work has seen me apply my pedagogical epertise in both EAL and mainstream English
classes, but I also run a variety of extra-curricular clubs. I am dedicated to regularly updating my practice with
emerging pedagogy and technology to ensure meaningful learning eperiences for students, and base my
lesson planning on evidence-based practice.
