About Noahs Arf:
Noahs Arf is a premier full service pet care facility
situated in Portland and Beaverton.
It is a 24 hour Full pet care service center.
Kris Price is the owner of this pet care center.
She has started her business in June 2002.
Recently it has received the Multnomah Animal Control FacilityAward.
The business got the success very quickly reaching the break-even pointin just two months
The company has now 2 full-time and 4 part-time employees .

The order of the menus should be rearranged in this order: HOME,
SERVICES, PRODUCTS, FACILITIES, NEWS EVENTS, PHOTOS, NEWS& EVENTS. The menu titled ABOUTshould be placed in HOME.
The HOMEPAGE of the website should be more simplified by
reducing the information
Some more service relevant attractive (pet animal caring) photos
should be used on the HOMEPAGE

Kris mostly relies on free publicity and word-of-mouth promotion
for its business which are very useful promotional tools. They also
need:
Public Relation Activities-use some public relation campaigns
regarding animal welfare and pet caring for establishing brand image .
Membership Scheme- for building strong customer relationship, they
advise membership scheme. the members can be given some special
prices for the service.

Off-Peak Pricing-To manage the crowd and to generate consistent
revenue, it can offer Off-Peak pricing as a promotional pricing strategy.
Plant Visit-arrange some plant visit programs where students will visit
the center to get the real life experience of the service provided by thecenter. It will strengthen its word-of-mouth promotion.
Mass Media Advertising-to buy some share of voice, Noahs Arf can
advertise its service in the mass media.

5.What might you expect to be the most significantchallenges for Kris in the future?
One of the most significant challenges that Kris is likely to face in thefuture is competition.
The success of her business may attract other entrepreneurs to invest in
such kind of venture. However, as the pioneer of full service pet care
center, she has some first moving advantages such as strong customer
bond and brand image that she should utilize properly.
Another challenge that she might face is regarding human resources for
managing her business.

Though personally Ms Kris is very passionate to her business and
customers as well, she needs some like-minded hands for managing her
expanded branches that she is planning to open.
Another challenge that Ms Kris may face in future is regarding the
presence in the mass media.
As her business has very minimum presence in the media at this
moment, this might create image problem especially if strong newcompetitors start the same kind of business with vigorous media
presence.
