If you want to go to the next roadmap step, you choose Next. If you want to undo the roadmap step, you choose Back. For ABAP-based systems, this is the SAPup program. In addition, the Software Update Manager starts the Software Logistics (SL) Controller. The SL controller manages the SAPup processes and provides ports to establish the communication with the front end.
