Everyone was offered two earthenpots. In one was put chipped ricewith condensed milk, and in theother chipped rice with yogurt.

Lord Nityananda sat on theraised platform with hisassociates & the 7 pots

From each and every pot, Lord Nityananda Prabhu took one morsel of

chipped rice and pushed it into the mouth of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu as a

joke. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, alsosmiling, took a morsel of food, pushed itinto the mouth of Nityananda and laughedas He made Lord Nityananda eat it.

When all the Vaishnavas were

chanting the holy names Hari, Hari and eating, they

remembered howKrishnaand Balarama ate with Theircompanions the cowherd boys on the bankof the Yamuna.

“No one can attain theshelter of Sri CaitanyaMahaprabhu without Yourmercy, but if You aremerciful, even the lowestof men can attain shelterat His lotus feet.”

“Raghunatha dasa’s standard ofmaterial happiness is equal to that of Indra, the King of heaven.”

Because of the mercy bestowed upon him by SriCaitanya Mahaprabhu, Raghunatha dasa, althoughsituated in such material happiness, does not like it atall. Therefore let every one of you be merciful towardhim and give him the benediction that he may very soonattain shelter at the lotus feet of Sri CaitanyaMahaprabhu.

Lord NityanandaPrabhu calledRaghunatha dasanear Him, placed Hislotus feet uponRaghunatha dasa’shead, & spoke.

“One who experiences the fragrance of the lotusfeet of Lord Krishna does not value even thestandard of happiness available in Brahmaloka,the topmost planet. And what to speak ofheavenly happiness?”Antya 6.137

Once Sanatan saw Krishna protectingRaghunatha from tiger & asked for hut to

be built.

On another occasion, Raghunatha dasa, whostill hadn't bothered to have a kutirconstructed, was sitting in the noon day sunabsorbed in his bhajana. Srimati Radharanistood behind him and held the end of her sarito shield him from the suns rays. Then one ofthe Gosvamis came along and saw this heartrending scene, while profuse perspirationcontinued to flow from Srimati Radharani'stranscendental body. This time when he wasagain requested to do his bhajan in a kutir, heimmediately complied. Built hut in a placecalled Arista gram.
