I know that running is a potentially hazardous activity. I agree not to enter and run unless we are medically able and properlytrained. I agree to abide by any decision of an event organizer relative to our ability to safely compete the run. I assume all risk

associated with running in this event, including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other runners, the effects of the weather

condition, all risk being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your

accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the organizers and all sponsors, their

representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that

liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons and entities named in this waiver. I grant permission

to all of the foregoing to use my name, likeness and identity in any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of

this event in perpetuity, throughout the world, in any media known or developed later for any legitimate promotional purposes.

RULES AND REGULATION

1. The SAPPHIRE RUN, a 3 Km, 5 Km and 10 Km road race is open to all runners – men and women.

2. Runners below 18 years of age must have their waiver on the entry form signed by a parent or guardian.

3. A non-refundable fee of Php 270.00 for 3 Km, Php 320.00 for 5 Km and Php 370.00 for 10 Km must accompany each entry.

4. Race Packet consists of Race Bib/No. and Singlet can be claimed beginning October 1, 2011 until 5:00 am of October 30, 2011.

5. Race Bib/No. must be worn at all times during the race, properly pinned in front of running singlet.

6. Race date is on October 30, 2011. Assembly is 5:00 am. Pre race briefing at 5:30 AM near the start and finish area near UPLB Baker HaGrounds, College, Laguna. Race starts in three (3) waves at an interval of every 10 minutes. (6:00 am-10K, 6:10 am-5K and 6:20 am-3K).

7. Marshals, hydration stations and checking/lace stations will be situated at strategic points along the route course.

8. Baggage deposit service is available near the Start and Finish area.

9. A standby medical aid will be stationed at the finished line.

10. All finishers will receive a certificate of finish.

11. The race organizers reserve the right to disqualify or withdraw any participant prior to or during the race.

12. The race organizers reserve the right to alter or change any of the rules and regulations they may deem necessary to ensure the safety andsuccess of the race prior to the start of the event.

13. The Race Organizers and Sponsors shall not be held responsible for any unfortunate incidents beyond reasonable control.

14. Any concerns with regards to raising a protest shall be submitted in written form to the Race Director within Thirty (30) minutes after crossingthe finish line. A protest fee of PhP 1,000.00 shall be collected for each protest.

15. Foreign nationalities will be accepted and listed under International Category and are entitled only for special awards and prizes (Top 3 Maleand Female).

16. Major prizes are limited for local Filipino runners only.

17. Event takes place rain or shine.

18. Submit this registration form together with a copy of your deposit slip through facebook account, Macrunners Sports, Inc.
