Items
• Items are defining the goods to be transported (= Cargo Items) and
the Capacities used to do so (Capacity Items)
• Items have a hierarchy between them, cargo items are assigned to
capacity items and items can have a hierachy within:

The item node is a direct Subnode of the Root node, for historical reasons the
technical node name is ITEM_TR

Item Categories – FU Specific Items
• Freight Unit Root: Defines the total quantities of the Freight Unit and is kind of a root of the FU
• Freight Unit Item: Defines the link and quantities of the TRQ items which are referenced in the Freight Unit

Item Categories – Capacity items in the truck world
• Representing a truck or a trailer
• Typcially main items (no parent items)
• Inherits capacity from vehicle resources
• Has specific fields like licence plate
Active and Passive
Vehicle items
• Defined detailed structure of a Vehicle item
• Is always subitem of Active or Passive Vehicle item
• Structure is defined in customizing in the compartment profile

Item Categories – Capacity items in the ocean / air world
• Represents (typically) a single container instance
• Capacity information etc. is derived from Equipment Type + Group
Container Items
• Aggregation of number of containers
• Has Confirmation information
• BCR is used to enter multiple containers of same equipment type at once, this triggers creation of actual container items

Items Structure
The Structure of the Item has the following sections:
• Common Part with TRQ: Mainly cargo and quantity information
• Capacity Item information like used vehicle, capacity etc.
• Reference information for items which are created in predecessor
documents (normally TRQ) like the item and root keys of original items
• FU specific information
• Stop information

Utilization
• Available capacities are charged against planned / actual quantities
• Max. utilization displayed on header is highest utilization of all stages
• If confirmed quantities are available for an item, those are used to calculate
the utilization
