SAP Basis SAP Basis - A set of middleware programs and tools that provide the underlying base that enable applications to be interoperable across operating systems. SAP Basis includes a RDBMS, GUI, and client server architecture. Beyond the interface aspect of Basis, it also includes such components as a data dictionary as well as user and system administration. SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) SAP EMW - One can record physical delivery quantity difference in the inbound delivery for the outbound delivery order or the posting change delivery. Delivery quantity differences can result from damage, loss, or expiration of the shelf life data. SAP WM (Warehouse Management) SAP WM - In Warehouse Management, goods movements are controlled through the movement type. Postings to inventory in IM are also identified by movement types. Together with other indicators, a movement type that is used for a goods movement in IM refers to a WM reference movement type.     SAP IS (Industry Solutions)

    SAP NetWeaver

    SAP Netweaver - NetWeaver is an application builder from SAP for integrating business

    processes and databases from a number of sources while exploiting the leading Web services

    technologies. Part of the company's mySAP product group, NetWeaver is getting a lot of

    industry attention as the first fully interoperable Web-based cross-application platform that can

    be used to develop not only SAP applications but others as well. NetWeaver allows a developer

    to integrate information and processes from geographically dispersed locations using diverse

    technologies, including Microsoft's .NET, IBM's WebSphere and Sun's Java technologies.

    SAP SRM (Supplier Relationship Management)

    SAP SRM - Supplier relationship management is a comprehensive approach to managing an

    enterprise's interactions with the organizations that supply the goods and services it uses. The

    goal of supplier relationship management (SRM) is to streamline and make more effective the

    processes between an enterprise and its suppliers just as customer relationship management

    SAP QM (Quality Management)

    SAP QM - The Quality Management component (QM) is part of the integrated R/3 System.

    With the functions of the Quality Management (QM) module, you can implement the most

    important elements of a QM system, as specified in ISO 9000.

    SAP IM (Investment Management)

    SAP IM - You use investment programs to manage budgets that can apply to a large number of

    individual measures (that is, internal orders or projects). An investment program is made up of

    individual program positions that are linked to each other in a hierarchical structure.

    SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)

    SAP PM - Necessary maintenance work on technical objects, such as inspections, preventive

    maintenance or repairs, can only be executed once all the measures to ensure a safe working

    environment have been implemented. These safety measures can include, for example,

    lockout/tag out, fire protection and radiation protection.

    SAP PP (Production Planning)

    SAP PP - Production Planning consists of all master data, system configuration, and

    transactions to complete the Plan to Produce process.

    SAP Logistics Information System

    The information structures are files of special statistics data that constitute an important element

    of the information systems. They form data basis for the standard analyses. Even planning is

    based on the information structures. The most important information is updated to the

    information structures from the huge volume of data in the operative application.

    SAP CS (Customer Service)

    SAP CS - Customer Service (CS) draws on functionality from different SAP application

    components, in particular Plant Maintenance (PM) and Sales and Distribution (SD). For example,

    CS involves the planning and processing of external services, such as contracts for the maintenance and

    repair of equipment that a customer has either bought or rented. Maintenance planning and servicing is

    managed in PM; in SD you can create and maintain the relevant service contracts. Contract related

    charges that are incurred in PM are passed on in the form of requests for billing in SD.

    SAP SMB (Small/Midsize Businesses)

    SAP Business One is an integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution for small and

    medium-sized businesses, as well as divisions and subsidiaries of larger companies. Produced

    by SAP, the solution is intended to assist companies by providing support for sales, customer

    relationships, inventory, operations, financials and human resources. The application has over

    30,000 customers.

    SAP CA (Cross Application Components)

    SAP CA - Archiving object CV_DVS for archiving document info records (DIRs) in component

    Cross Application Components (CA) You can set a deletion flag for document info records that

    you no longer require for managing documents and their original application files. Archiving

    object CV_DVS enables you to archive these document info records. After the archiving run,

    you can delete the archived document info records.

    SAP PS (Project Systems)

    SAP PS - Both large scale projects, such as building a factory, and small-scale projects, such

    as organizing a trade fair, require precise planning of the many detailed activities involved. The

    project manager has the job of ensuring that the project is executed efficiently, on time, and

    SAP SEM (Strategic Enterprise Management)

    management process. The SAP SEM product can be installed independently of a SAP ERP

    system as it does not require a direct link to the ERP software.

    SAP PLM - Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is all about enabling the process of product

    development through management of information and resources throughout the extended

    supply chain.
