Customizations for the generation of digital signature for outbound delivery documents

1. Create a new number range number which is company code specific.

This number range will be used as an external number and will be generated when posting the goods issue in the delivery document. The signature will be made with this external number and not the delivery document number.

a. Execute the transaction SNROb. Give the object name as ‘RV_BELEG’c. Click on ‘Number ranges’d. Click on ‘Change intervals’e. Maintain the corresponding number range number with the relevant intervalsf. Save and come out of the transaction

IMPORTANT: this new number range must be different from the remaining SD documents. This is the only way to guarantee that the signature will be made on sequential numbering, without gaps

2. SIPT_NUMBR_OBD (SIPT_NUMBR_OBD_V) - Signature PT: Relevancy of Delivery document range

Table where all the delivery documents relevant for signatures are maintained. It will be impossible to sign a document, if it is not maintained in this table. The relevant fields are:

Number range: number range number created in for the object RV_BELEG using the transaction SNRO;

Signature: this field must be selected in order to generate the signature; Series: this field represents the sequence of number ranges assigned to a document type. For

example, document tyep AC has the number range 01. If for some reason a new number range is assign the the document type AC, it should be identified as serie 2

Document type : leading document type that will be used to include in the signature. Description: leading document type description Company Code; Company Name: company code description Start Date: starting point for generating the signatures. This date is the system date and not the

posting date; Start Time: starting point for generating the signatures (system time).

IMPORTANT: The customizations mentioned above have to be carried out for EVERY company code as the digital signature that is generated is company code specific.
