Minimum System Requirement WinXP Pro/Windows Server 2003 Min RAM: 512MB HDD 120 (If installing on your laptop/desktop) External HDD: 80GB System name (My computer>right click> properties> computer name - to be less than 13character. If the system name is more than 13 characters, click on change and type HOME or something to that effect.
Preliminary Installation Activities
System Name: (My computer>right click> properties> computer name - to be less than 13character. If the system name is more than 13 characters, click on change and type HOME or something to that effect.
Go to Control Panel: Select System
The system will restart automatically to change settings
Log in to Remote Desktop
Install MS Loopback Adapter
Go to Control Panel: Select Add Hardware
Select Option: Yes
Select Network Adapters: Click on Next Select Microsoft: You will find Network Adapter: Microsoft Loopback Adapter Select and click on next
Microsoft Loopback Adapter has been installed.
Right click on Local Area connection on my Computer: Click on Properties
Right click on My Computer
Paging: Here we set Pages If three or four applications are using at a time. There might be a slow in accessing; to increase accessing we set initial size and maximum size.
Java Installation
If Computer is having 32 Bit need to install 32 bit if it is 64 bit Need to install 64 bit
Click on next to install Java
Click on my computer: Click on Advanced; Click on Environment Variables
You can see Java has been installed on Desktop
You can also see Java has been installed in DOS CommandGive CMD in Run and enter Give javac to check java has been installed in C Drive
Go to C Drive Copy Path
Right Click on MY Computer Select My Properties You will see below screen
In Environment Variables Click on New
Go to C Drive. Select j2sdlk1.4.2_13 Folder In Folder: Copy below Path
In New : Give below Variable name and paste variable value which you have copied in C Drive
Do same as above Go to C Drive Select j2sdlk1.4.2_13 Folder Select Bin. In Bin Folder: Copy Path
Select Path and Edit Give Variable Value after DMI; C\j2sdk1.4.2_13\bin
Oracle Installation
Click on NT
Click on I386
Double Click on sapserver
We are installing Oracle in D drive
Give ECJ and enter
Installing Oracle it will take 5 to 10 minutes to install.
Oracle has been installed
Click exit
SAP Installation Central Instance
Click on Central System Installation Click on Next
Enter Password, one character should be numeric.
Follow same for Export 2 - 11/11
