Welcome to the Centennial Open House & Expo!
Thank you for joining us today as we showcase our outstanding academic programs and services! Santa Ana College held its first classes on the site of Santa Ana High School with a humble 24 students and 11 professors over 100 years ago. As we move into our next century, we are thrilled to open our doors to the community.
Today Santa Ana College is the fourth oldest in the State and the second oldest in the county of what is now 113 community colleges – 24 students have grown to over 30,000 students each semester – including hundreds of international students from more than 40 countries, and nearly 1,500 faculty and staff.
Early into its second century, Santa Ana College will continue to be the community college of choice. We are confident that today you will see and experience firsthand our top-notch courses, programs, certificates and career pathways.
Our Boundless Future has already begun with the revolutionary approval as one of 15 community colleges to pilot a baccalaureate degree program in Occupational Studies at the California Community College level.
Today, Santa Ana College honors our Celebrated Past.
Today, Santa Ana College revels in the promise of our Boundless Future.
This centennial year not only marks our cherished, celebrated past and all that made it possible but this is also the beginning of our boundless future, the start of another century of promise for students and our community.
