While we were doing many medical camps in the previous years, we felt an acute need to curb the school
drop outs due to many reasons. One of the reasons was as follows
The tribal kids have to walk long distance to reach their school/college, hence we decided for a pilot project of
donating 10 cycles to them. After interacting with them this is what we learnt
1. The kids are interested in a BSA photon cycle for boys and BSA ladybird shine for girls, as it looks trendier.
2. The cost of that cycle is Rs 3900 with bill.
3. The cycle will be fitted with lock n bell apart from stand n chain cover.
This would ease the commute to school/college as most schools are 5-7km from where they stay and college is
even far.
After a brain storming session with all the friends, we decided to implement his project
5th July 2015
5 boys and 2 girls received cycles
12th July 2015 6 girls and 1 boy received the cycle

6 riders are riding from Mumbai to Goa, a distance of 550km. They are raising funds for donating cycles to the
tribal students, who have to commute long distance on foot, and therefore many quit the school. These tribal
students, if they have a cycle, they can commute the distance of 5-10 km very easily and we can prevent the
drop outs. The 6 riders were Mr Dipen Jain,Mr Anurag Zutshi, Mr Yashkumar Sota, Mr Harshad Kale, Mr

Interview on Radio City, Fun ka antenna.
My dad was virtually challenged. This made things slightly difficult at home right from the very onset. As fate
would have it, he suffered an accident and lost the only job he had.
But he was a man of strong will-power and determination. He wanted me to have a good education in an
English medium school to brighten the prospects of my life.
Today, you can listen to my story about life & how I overcame the difficulties life threw at me & how a little
help from my friends and society went a long way in ensuring I realize my dream to becoming a dentist!
Yes, I am Dr. Suwas Darvekar and you can listen to my story today on #AamAadmiKiKhaasKahani only on
