Key issuesCommunities and Identities – Balance of Good and
Evil!!!How do we identify the “Good” and use it?How do we educate when it is so scary, constantly changing and full of Risk?
Safety/ Security/PrivacyParents concern and responsesRights of privacy, liberty, freedom of expression VRS securityChildren are often afraid to report cyber-safety issues for fear the technology will be taken away from them
24/7 Technologies such as mobile phones can be used anywhere – so cyber-safety issues must be addressed in ways that transcend the boundaries of school and homeWho is responsible when?
The Gap Adolescents relate to technology differently to adults. Adults often have little knowledge of the technologies their children are usingSchool access vrs Home Access
We have left kids “to themselves” in some online spaces.

Bebo
How do I keep my homepage private? If you wish, then your homepage will only be visible to your personal friends, ones which you have accepted. If you have no friends, like a geek, then naturally you can also make it visible to all as a way of trying to get some.
Do I have to join my school or college to use Bebo? No, you can use Bebo without registering your school or college. This is especially handy if you go to a school for dumb kids but don't want anyone to know. Likewise if you're at a pretend University, like Coventry, or Idaho State.

What would have to happen for you to go and ask an adult for help?
If someone I didn’t really know or thought I new but didn't stared sending me disgusting photos of them and other dirty thing I would go tell my parents, but I think most kids just let it go because they are scared if they tell their parents will take there computer away from them and they will then have nothing.
What things would you tell your little sister or brother about using this technology? How would you prepare them for it?
I would tell my little sister to be careful of the people she adds and talks because those people aren't always who they say they are.
