  • Based on the exit conference made after the event: Issues that were raised were:

    1. Some of the Form A was not signed by the counsellors. However the reason given by Mr Jem Ticzon as representative of counsellors was that, it was

immediately taken away by the phlebotomist. 2. There was no holding area for those who have completed their testing since

most of them waited for their companions before leaving. 3. Some counsellors have done their counselling together with another (2 counselor at a time per client). I have voiced out that in my opinion- there is no problem with this set-up provided that both are trained counsellors and that the client permitted or consented them to do so. However, their point was well taken by the undersigned since it was our counsellor who made the act to assist

other first timers from the hospital which I have consented. 4. That those extraction procedures paraphernalia of the phlebotomist were just left unsafely in cartons, plastic cups (used syringes, needles, test tubes with blood and a like) and it was not properly disposed to the CHOs provided safety

boxes! 5. We are a little of-short of our target.

Hopefully we ended nicely with this partnership!
