Print, copy, scan and fax with one deviceThe SCX-5637FR is a printer, copier, scanner and fax machine combined in one easy-to-use multifunction device.

Increase productivity with high-powered processor, fast print speed and wireless capabilityThe versatile SCX-5637FR has a 600 MHz dual-core pro-cessor, 1 Gb of network connectivity and up to 768 MB memory to quickly produce quality print jobs. The print speed is 35 ppm, with a first page out time (FPOT) of 6.5 seconds from Ready mode and 1,200 dpi x 1,200 dpi print resolution. The standard document box features 2 GB of built-in flash memory that stores, shares and prints often-used documents and images saved from various input devices. The SCX-5637FR also supports multiple media types, including card stock, colored or specialty papers and envelopes. Users can print wirelessly from smart-phones and tablet PCs by downloading the Samsung MobilePrint application from the Samsung web store.

Simplify printing with smart design featuring LCD UI and high paper tray capacityThe design of the Samsung SCX-5637FR multifunction printer makes the printer easy to use. The SCX-5637FR has a 4-line LCD UI. The front of the device has a USB port for the USB print function, which enables users to print docu-ments directly from a USB storage device. The standard paper cassette holds 300 pages, with the option to upgrade to an additional 520-page cassette for a total of 820 pages. The combined cassettes allow large print jobs to complete without having to add more paper. The built-in 50-sheet duplex automatic document feeder (ADF) scans both sides of a document.

Reduce downtime with Samsung’s anti-jam technologyMisfed pages, multiple pages feeding from the cassette tray and paper jams are minimized with Samsung’s anti-jam technology. The anti-jam system is based on a semi-retard roller that uses a unique backward friction during the paper pickup process. The anti-jam technology, combined with the high-duty sheet cycle of 80,000 pages per month, enable businesses to print more documents with less hassle.

Reduce the company’s carbon footprint and costs with Eco Mode and high-yield toner cartridgesWith Eco Mode, businesses can save paper and toner and reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, decreasing energy and operating expenses. The built-in duplex printing feature reduces paper usage. Users can print on the front and back of a page and perform 2-up printing, in which two pages are printed per sheet. These features become the default print options when the user presses the Eco Button. Toner Saver mode uses up to 30 percent less toner than similar printers. The Eco Result Simulator shows the savings in energy and paper use and the reduction in CO2 emissions.

The Samsung SCX-5637FR prints up to 5,000 pages with the high-yield toner cartridge and up to 10,000 pages with the extra high-yield toner cartridge. The toner and drum cartridges are separate. Separate cartridges lower the total cost of ownership even more, because the drum unit is re-placed only when necessary instead of each time toner is replaced.
