Oklahoma School for the Deaf Athletics is organizing the event Great Plains Schools for the Deaf (GPSD) Basketball and Cheer Competition. Our organization’s mission is to bind together to provide a means to promote athletic, cheerleading, and academic competition, sportsmanship, friendship, and mutual respect for fellow students among all schools.
GPSD is a National Deaf Athletic Conference, which includes Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin Deaf Schools. We all work closely together to promote opportunities and success between all students. Students who normally wouldn’t have the opportunity to compete are now competing on a national stage. The GPSD Basketball and Cheer Competition will be held February 6th to 9th, 2020 here on the OSD campus.
I would like to invite you to be a Corporate Sponsor or Supporter of this event! As a leader in the community, your involvement with us in the GPSD Tournament is an opportunity for your organization to receive exposure and recognition. You will join other individuals, organizations, and coalitions in our community to educate students and families about Deaf Athletic opportunities. Your involvement will promote and encourage students to succeed on and off the floor on the national stage, and create and strengthen community partnerships.
Community sponsors are the primary source of funding for this event and will help ensure its success. You can provide support in the following ways:
Be a Corporate Sponsor or Event Supporter through a monetary donation. Your company logo will be placed on materials to promote the event.
Donate food to our hospitality room, awards, swag for students or other in kind items. Volunteer at the event. Sponsor or host student social event at your facility. Provide information to clients or patrons about the tournament and what we are doing!
Enclosed is a sponsorship form that gives information on sponsorship levels. Beyond your sponsorship, we welcome you to join us by participating in Great Plains School for the Deaf Tournament.
